@Triple Helix Just did a reinstall using your instructions (given in an earlier post) but still seeing these 'old' kind of popup.
@Muddy3 I do not have any browser extension. I use Internet Explorer and other browsers are all portable...

So, such 'new' block windows appear because of browser extension? @Triple Helix

And what is seen in WRData folder? And were you seeing the lock on tray icon with browser open? :doubt: Very strange...

That's strange! In IE11 on my Win 7 machine, I can clearly see "Webroot Browser Extension" in the Add-Ons list (though it says that the version number is unavailable):
As best as I understand, the Browser Filtering Extension generates the block pages in the Consumer Version, and a mixture of the Filtering Driver and the Browser Filtering Extension generates the block pages in the Beta Version. That is, as best as I understand from explanations given by Webroot Developers on the Webroot Community Forum pages... (I stand to be corrected by those more knowledgeable than me, such as Triple Helix, if necessary!)

Hmm, I'll try to add KeePass again. As I recall KeePass didn't run in Firefox without plugins.
So, Application Protection only for executable. What harm leaving dll's.
Maybe dlls' came along with exe. I'll re-do and see.
    Stay tuned...
Update: seems at least two dll's are needed for KeePass to communicate with KeeFox.
    Added back to Application Protection.
    keepassrpc.dll in c:\users\bjms\appdata\local\keepass\plugincache\morlsbyr...
    domainpublicsuffix.dll in c:\users\bjms\appdata\local\keepass\plugincache\morlsbyr....
Even though Application Protection alerts for exe's. These two dll's slipped in as Allow (this time).
I may need other dll's for KeePass/KeeFox to function. For now KeePass exe seems happy riding with two dll's in Application Protection.
Well, KeePass.exe is protected (just not alone). Thanks! Triple Helix.
*KeePass user please confirm Application Protection. Thanks

    @Triple Helix & @Muddy3
Figured out the problem without contacting support. I was using an extended trial version (from a promotion), not a paid version. I just applied for a trial license, and with that license I could see add-on in internet explorer and 'new' block page, as well as security ratings on search results. But with my extended trial license no add-on was installed. I checked this process 2-3 times repeatedly, and it is confirmed that WSA offers partial functionality to extended trial users.

Where did you get it? Maybe it's a cracked version or a keycode that is being abused, can you send me the keycode via PM: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/conversations/add

    Thanks,

    Daniel

Looks like the Web Filter Driver bug with Steam will end up being unreported and fixed! Contacted support and they got back to me in two days! Then told me to report to the beta forum for which I cannot join!

    Filtering Extension version question.
Does Filtering Extension version update independent of product version update.
    I ask because I had to over-install to get .3.7 and .4.7.
So, how will I know if Filtering Extension updates mid product version update.
I'm presuming Filtering Extension update only comes by internal updater that's stubborn on my machine.
Is there a change log page...?
    Thanks

Are you a Beta Tester? Just wondering as I see you have the Web Filter Driver? Can you please check here to see if it's shown here?

    Thanks Dermot7
Hopefully, user will post update notice. Since, I haven't seen internal updater work as yet.

Yes it's just not active. The real issues are that Chrome and Firefox now require extensions to be checked a signed so the Webroot Team is working on it with them.

    Thanks,

    Daniel ;)

You're welcome @bjm_ This idea that @Baldrick suggested, if implemented, would give user ongoing info on what gets updated.
