Had the journalist hacked the CEO's phone I do not hesitate to say that she would have been brought up on charges.
http://www.theguardian.com/business...over-new-leaked-emails-on-hacking-of-reporter Now, in a further leak from an email, it's alleged that a Vodafone manager did instigate the hack. Doh. Gives the lie to the risible statement in the original: "Vodafone Hutchison Australia immediately commissioned an investigation by one of Australia’s top accounting firms. The investigation found there was no evidence VHA management had instructed the employee to access the messages" No evidence! Must be true. The auditors were KPMG by the way. I await with bated breath for people to go to jail.
Vodafone's response to unauthorised access of journalist's phone records offensively inadequate http://www.theage.com.au/digital-li...s-offensively-inadequate-20150917-gjp48i.html
