We have declared build 245 stable. It is rolling to all existing users (auto update).

Appalling amount of false positives in the latest version... Guess I can upload the log here (we're all mature adults regarding those cookies right ;)).

*Yes there was always MiPony, but I'm hiding that detection this time, because I never installed any PUP from them.

    Hi Erik and Hi Mark

Can you check the 1 File and whitelisted the 1 File please. I use the FP function into the Programm to submit the File to you

    With best Regards

Looks like that "Startup Sentinel" is doing some weird stuff causing it to trigger the HitmanPro behavioral rule.

You mean all of those detections were due to Startup Sentinel? I'll double-check when I get to my computer, but they might be all startup entries managed by it.

*Wow indeed they are! I'll notify the developer about this.

Maybe due to Registry "scanning" of Startup entries by Startup Sentinel (for change detection) ?
Has this false positive been reported to Hitman dev team ?

Sorry, I meant I didn't take any further actions such as contacting them directly.

As, last Saturday, HitmanPro developer Erik Loman replied, I guess the issue is known to SurfRight.
But if you wish, you can contact Erik regarding the matter, of course.

"There is no difference between HitmanPro and HitmanPro Alert".....ignorance is a bliss. :D

Obviously said by a Avast fanboy or Avast Überevangelist as his profile says, he is right about one thing though, HMP does use a low level driver and it's the only way to be effective against really nasty malware! ;)

HitmanPro is still using TLS 1.0, and without Forward Secrecy.

Because a large user base of HitmanPro still uses Windows XP.

There are problems with DHE ciphersuites because it might support them and thus use them but fail because it doesn't support large enough, secure keysizes, but preferring ECDHE should be fine because it doesn't support them at all and will use other ciphersuites further down the preference list.

I'm not Erikloman, :) but I can confirm that HitmanPro (as well as HItmanPro.Alert) runs fine on my Vista Home Premium x64, SP2, with Norton 360 installed.
