I have confirmed, that Panda caused wifi dropouts, probably blocked the internet waiting for the response from the cloud. With 360, wifi works fine.
And this is why its essential to try any software for yourself instead of taking comments as read...I use wifi a lot and have never had any problems using panda free...Remember folks, mileage really does vary.
I suspect, that Windows 10 "helped" as well, fully compatible and working software with 10 is still hard to combine.
See that makes more sense as a statement....Someone that reads that will now know that it doesn't kill wifi for all users...For some reason I've always had a problem with Emsisoft thrashing my HDD, reading through the posts about Emisosoft it seems I'm pretty much alone with that..I wouldn't post there and state that Emisoft thrashes Hard drives as a blanket statement.
Is all Panda services in "services.msc" all set to Automatic? I disabled all of those in safe mode ( for testing purposes) and can't remember what the default was (Not sure if some are delayed start or not) If someone can tell me their defaults, that would be appreciated. Normally I don't drop the ball like this, but this time I did.
I have 3 running on my Windows PC...Haven't touched them all are default... http://i.imgur.com/7zQDT8K.jpg
I read your comment and went to check, because it quarantined a PUP some minutes ago and I restored it immediately. And now, I can't find my file, it hasn't been restored, and there isn't in quarantine either Really dissapointing.
Just like for the 2015 versions, I'm hoping someone knows where the offline installers for both Panda Antivirus 2016 and Internet Security 2016 are and will post the download link for it please.
Have you reported this on the Panda forums? Others may have had the same problem. http://support.pandasecurity.com/forum/index.php?sid=0c6a90261dfcacc25d198718d92b16d8
Here is the link for free version : http://www.neowin.net/news/panda-fr...ased-offline-installer-available-for-download
I can't bloody register on 5000 forums just because of a single bug in every app. Is there really no one from panda willing to check Wilders like pbust did? Seriously...
Is this similar to what you are experiencing? http://support.pandasecurity.com/fo...3&t=4684&sid=fe4b626822b71cb9298f2300b5b3e5f7
No. In my case, certain files were detected as Suspicious and quarantined. Then I've restored them, Panda added them t the exclusion list, but didn't actually restore back the file in question.
I really hate auto-quarantine, set it to "ask before neutralize". My experience with Panda support is rather bad, I guess you won't get a solution soon.
client came into me yesterday about this. he lost a file that he is super ticked off about it was for his company. panda saw it as a fp and quarantined it and now its gone. he restored it but no luck, luckily i was able to find the file still on the drive by using another pc and an undelete program.
