Hello, I have Private Firewall installed under Windows 7, and whenever I reboot my computer, I have noticed that both the "Network discovery" and "File and printer sharing" options under the Advanced sharing settings are being forced on. Is there anyway to stop Private Firewall from forcing these options on? I want to keep them off. And I did un-install Private Firewall as a test, and these options did not change at reboot. So, I know for a fact that Private Firewall is turning them both on.
By default, Private Firewall sets the home (yellow light) on medium security allowing sharing among devices at home. You just have to move the bar up to level "high" to disallow sharing. There is also another third party software like Windows 7 Manager which allows you to tweak your OS to your preferred query.
