Meaning the "Services" in your Control Panel > Administrative Tools. This isn't to brag over, just curiosity.

    For me it's 13:

COMODO Internet Security Helper Service - Auto
    Cryptographic Services - Manual
    Event Log - Auto
Extensible Authentication Protocol Service - Auto
    Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit Service - Auto
    Network Connections - Manual
    Plug and Play - Auto
Remote Procedure Call (RPC) - Auto
    Sandboxie Service - Auto
    Windows Audio - Auto
Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) - Auto
    Windows Management Instrumentation - Auto
    Wired AutoConfig - Auto

    37. All accounted for, no unknowns, no mal-ware or "fix my PC" crap.

You realize that you are not taking into account svchost, right? I bet theres 4 instances of that running, 3 if you have really tweaked things. Just saying theres a diff between services in the list versus number actually running is all.

I specifically made it a point to provide the path: Control Panel > Administrative Tools to eliminate any confusion over what I was talking about, but it seems it was in vain. I'm talking about how many services you have running in there, not processes via the Task Manager. I think I have about 17 of them at boot, and yes 2 instances of svchost. None of them ever granted internet access.

Anyhow I was just curious. If you want to tell the amount process instead/also that's cool too.

lol, sorry. Cannot look at services without also considering what process that service runs under, specifically because of svchost.

Are these the Services listed as "Started" "Automatic"? Or also those listed as "Manual?"
