    May be irrelevant.
Calm and open mind can be curious too. :)

I figured that. Users browsing without SBIE can worry about them. Those holes are nothing to be concerned about for Sandboxie users.

Anyone else here using Windows 8.1 x64 with all updates and not seeing system tray icons of sandboxed programs? After an update they are no longer displayed here.

I'm sick of something breaking every once in a while.

How do you guys sandbox ms office? Force sandbox every exe? cause there's quite a few! Also, just double checking...whenever I sandbox a program I always force the main exe (example:TeamViewer.exe) are there ever any apps where you need to add other exe's of the program? Like service.exe etc?

    Hello Wilders,
    WOT question.
    I have Direct Access = c:\program files (x86)\WOT\WSS.exe.
What do I need for WOT to render in Yahoo search results.
I find WOT in Google and Bing but, not Yahoo search results. Yahoo is Firefox default.
I've look in Yahoo Search Preference.
Is no WOT a Yahoo search thingy...?
Is no WOT a Firefox thingy...?
Is no WOT a Sandboxie thingy...?
    TIA

I use Office in XP. For Office 2003, you force each executable for each Office program.

For most programs that's how it works. One that's different for me is Libre Office. In my W7, the computer where I use Libre, forcing one executable takes care of the whole program.

I haven't found any program that I have to force more than one executable to protect it.

Hi bjm. I don't use WOT, I know what it is but I am not familiar with it. I don't see the reason for allowing access to anything for WOT. Perhaps the thing with Yahoo search is due to a conflict. But I don't know.

Hmm, I'll try wo Direct Access = c:\program files (x86)\WOT\WSS.exe and post back.
I've disable Norton Toolbar because as you know Sandboxie breaks Toolbar and Norton Safe Web is embedded in Toolbar.
WOT populates to links in emails as well as URL and search results.
I think when Firefox went Yahoo as default is when WOT stopped rendering to Yahoo results.
Yes, conflict is reasonable alas no conflict for Google, Bing and Duck Duck. I'll be back. ;)
In Firefox sandbox Direct Access. I have WOT and KeyPass and template IE DOMStore.

I can test WOT. The addon for Firefox, right? Or, get me the link for the installer.

And the problem is that it doesn't display anything green or red in Yahoo search, right?

    Let me know.

Well, I had a brain fart since last we spoke. Search results same w/wo Sandboxie. Maybe Yahoo. Maybe Firefox. Not Sandboxie. I will try wo Direct Access. I have no Start Run or Net Access for WOT.

You know, bjm, I am getting old but something just hit my memory now. I think I read a few months ago that there is a conflict between Yahoo search and WOT. So, this problem its not only yours.

    To whom it may concern...

It finally happened. I decided to abandon Sandboxie.

I've had too many issues in recent months with Invincea being unwilling or unable to start supporting their product properly. Sandboxie slowly became more trouble than it was worth so I decided it was time to move on.
I would say it was a fun time while it lasted... but it really wasn't. At least not since Invincea took over.

I agree. I have also found solutions which serve my needs and the way I use my computer better. It is not my intention to start a discussion but rather to state that you are not alone.

You, not using Sandboxie (For whatever reason), is a loss to Sandboxie, IMO.

But the problem with some problem reports at the SBIE forum is that the user reporting the issue just doesn't give the necessary information about their issue in order to reproduce the problem. Read noways post in this thread, from early today. I agree 100% with that post.

Been using Sandboxie for 5 years now. Been following the betas all the way through and never had a problem. Of course I don't have a lot of other/unneeded superfluous junk installed either so that might help.

Is v5 specific for W10 and are fixes in v5 specific to W10
Do fixes in v5 apply to less than W10
will v5 fix issues less than W10
Should I stay on v4.20 as I'm W8.1 and Vista
    Will there be a v4.22
