So you are finding spframe.dll inside the Notepad folder located at C:\Windows\System32\notepad.exe ?

Am I interpreting your statement correctly ?

Not as I recall. Thanks.... I'm curious but, no worries here. I think it's related to Internet Explorer.
Some times call IE11 gets AG excited re spframe.dll

spframe.dll is not part of Internet Explorer 11 on W8.1 systems; you will not find spframe.dll inside IE11 folder or elsewhere.

The only case of spframe.dll associated with IE is on W8 systems.

Did you upgrade from W8 to W8.1 ?

W8.1 OEM as far as I know... 8.1 on HP label. System Information always 8.1
...may be related to Flash 203 ... seems 203 by Windows Updates then spframe.dll last few days...

Update: seems related to IE11. Call IE11 prompts spframe.dll in Locked Down and Medium.

    Update +: seems, I go near IE11 ~ W8.1.x 64bit and AG throws spframe.dll fit.

Update ++: AG set to Install allows IE11 to open. Close IE11 > set AG to Medium > 07/14/15 12:52:32 Prevented process <spframe.dll | C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe> from launching from <c:\users\bjms\desktop>.

Well, I though maybe spframe was related to flash player 203...but, I've installed 209 and still get spframe after I open IE11. When I cycle IE. AG dialog for spframe shows after IE11 closes. Seems to take AG awhile to tell me what's it's doing.

If you're talking to me #3410 maybe you can narrow my search.

Given enough time and effort. Wilders member query's may be sorted by Google.
I come to Wilders for the commonality of purpose and to participate in like minded company.
Well in any case, the matter is under review by BRN. I will however, advise BRN the answer is found on Google by putting in a little effort. Thanks.

AppGuard is already my favorite piece of security software, but one way it can be made even better is to have this feature: when AppGuard blocks an application, you should be able to right click on the block alert and hit "Allow" or "Allow for 20 minutes", which would then remove that app from AppGuard protection either permanently or temporarily. As of right now, the only way to do this is to dig through various screens.

One weakness of AppGuard is that if you set it into Install mode, you are taking down almost all of your shields for one program. A per-application temporary Allow would be a great solution.

I've just installed the combination of AppGuard, Sandboxie and HitmanPro.Alert and think I might need some help with settings, even after searching and reading in this thread.

I've added c:\sandbox to Guarded Apps/Settings. Am I also supposed to add HMP.A's CryptoGuard there? I'm not finding it.

And please let me know if there are any other settings that need to be changed. Thanks, this might turn out to be a great combination.

It works fine on Win 10. Edge is another matter as I haven't tried adding it.

Can AG run alongside SecureAplus and what settings need to be tweaked if it can?

Does AppGuard cause any issue with Windows 10 automatic updates? :doubt:
