Not many AV's seem to support fast-user switching in XP; https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=33288

KAV does not and since this is one of the engines in AVK Pro, maybe eXtendia is the same.

When changing users, look to see if the AVK background processes, AVKWCtl.exe and AVKService.exe are still running in Task manager, even though you cannot see the system tray icon. If so, you are still protected but you will not receive any visual indication of an infection until the first user logs back on.

You could check this with the EICAR test files; http://www.eicar.org/anti_virus_test_file.htm

    Thanks blackcat,

Yes, it´s supports in a strange way. Only "AVKService.exe" keeps alive in process memory, and trying the simple EICAR test, it semms to work properly don´t let that files execution. But you can´t change the config about treat those theats, "Ask for action to do" "Deny access" bla bla bla.

    Switch back to NOD32... :]
