In reference to Post 6174, Pete is right. I have already added the line to SBIE (\Device\NamedPipe\hmpalert)

There is an error in Erik's sig showing .41 instead of .42 for build 190 - is that what you're referring to?

BTW what version of SBIE are you using. You might want to get the latest beta

I visit all of those Dutch sites, and didn't have any problems. I think it's most likely because I use ad/script blockers, and less targeted software like Opera. I also didn't have any problems with Firefox though, which is running "sandboxed" with the help of Sandboxie. I'm currently not using any anti-exploit solutions, but good to know they can easily stop this stuff.

There were opt outs. Plus installing with ERP in alert mode, you can block anything with open candy in it.

Visited Trouw and Volkskrant, no Hmp.Alert build 191-alerts. Firefox-adblocker (Bluhell firewall) and Sandboxie beta 4.19.3.

    erikloman's signing:
    HitmanPro 3.7.9 Build 242 with Kickstart 2.3 - Download
    HitmanPro.Alert 3.0.41 Build 190 with CryptoGuard - Download

Here can not these download(not these versions can be downloaded). Here can download: HitmanPro 3.7.9 Build 241 (not 242) and HitmanPro.Alert 3.0.42 (not 3.0.41) Build 190

    You're in the wrong topic.
This topic is meant for HitmanPro.Alert, not for HitmanPro.

I understand that you're pointing out an error in the HMPA version number on the download link in Erik's signature. It's just a typo; why is that a problem?

No, it is not just a typo! It is a download link! It only makes sense if the current latest version is exactly shown. Some people want to download this and not get what you see (want). For example me.

I feel it's a typo because the build being offered in the download link is 3.0.42.190 and that is also the build offered on the website. There is no 3.0.41.190 that could be downloaded by mistake. I hope that helps.

In any case a newer build has already been offered, which is 3.0.43.191 and I would recommend using it since it fixes some issues (in fact 3.0.44.192 is now available for testing).

Why not instead focus on what the software does and how well it does it?
