I imagine they're shutting down. AVG may have an announcement soon about continuing servicing of Norman accounts until eol. Or else they will offer comparable coverage with AVG products to finish out current accounts.

Gobbled up the same way as PC Tools was by Norton, it`s a jungle out there.

"Rubenking's reviews are not perfect, but they are pretty fair"....ditto, ditto +1.

    Regards Eck:)

Got a notice from Norman that my particular product was being retired at the end of March. I had Norman Online Backup. Since it is rebranded Jotta Cloud, Norman sent info on how to convert the account to Jotta. They also threw in unlimited backup for the trouble. Real class operation.

It's a shame that their Norman Sandbox never really evolved into something more.

Norman customers will be moved to AVG products over time. Norman will not continue, as AVG acquired them for their sales and distribution network and not for any technological gains.

Agree, from what I've seen from it and read, it was a really effective technology.

Yes,after migration Norman(Safeground SA)will be merge in AVG completely
just like other previous software vendor which acquired by AVG
    TuneUp Utilities
    edwido
    etc.
Norman Sandbox technology was quite interesting and it have a white paper which talk it quite a lots
However thar pdf has been takendown from the Norman Website,I reupload it in my google drive
you could view it here at archive.org
    https://web.archive.org/web/20140826171032/http://download.norman.no/whitepapers/whitepaper_Norman_SandBox.pdf

After the FSN Acquired Norman ASA it split to two company
Norman Safeground AS(which now part of AVG) and (Norman Shark AS) which still exist
After their version 10 they chosen to retire all their technology(including Norman Sandbox) and relaid on Bit Defender Engine(only for Consumer)
But Norman Shark AS(Which force on Enterprise market were still exist)and no one have any info about that
