Hi everyone, I need you help: My MacBook Pro from 2011 went dead, and I am trying now to recover HDD files to my PC running under Windows 7. I already did the following: 1) I have removed the HDD from the Mac and installed it on an external case. 2) I have installed Paragon HFS+ for Windows. 3) I connected the case to my PC in an attempt to read and transfer the files on it. Unfortunately, nothing works, all I am able to do is to see the Mac's HDD partition on storage management in Windows Explorer. Any attempt to access the disk display that it's inaccessible. Also, my MacBook Pro was protected by a password on boot. Is this an issue? My mac wasn't dropped, crashed or anything like that! Only some (little) spill of beverage put it completely off! I am really desperate to recover some of the files, as there was important part of my work on them. Please, I need someones help to figure this out.
Is this partition mounted? Please check it in disk management. Also next articles should help (check the first two of them) http://kb_wp.paragon-software.com/article/category/windows/hfs
