There was a specific issue on 32bit, otherwise Avira Free Antivirus and Avira Antivirus Pro have been Windows 10 compatible from the beginning.
With Update 10 this and some other minor issues have been addressed so everything is very well on track. :thumb:

Since Windows 10 itself is still not final of course we might find new issues in the future, which will then be addressed accordingly.

If someone happens to discover a yet unknown problem please let us know! Preferably through beta portal or customer support all feedback is appreciated.

    ...still says 15.0.9.504 / March 31, 2015 / 178 MB,
    but actually is 15.0.10.434 / May 5, 2015 / 197 MB.

Just hit the download link and check the MB.

Is the proactive behavior blocker there in paid version?
And does it works i.e effective?

The underlying technology is available only on 32bit Windows. I think it is safe to assume that nobody else has a 64bit ProActive (if we refer to this name for this very functionality).

However, Avira is extending and enhancing other means of detection that are available on 64bit as well and that provide similar or even better results - and maybe will even replace ProActive on 32bit systems eventually.

    Hi,

I am using Emsisoft Antimalware on a Win 7 /64 OS, which has a fully functional behavior blocker ( known as "MAMUTU" in previous stand alone version)

So, it seems like is possible....

    Thanks!

I do realy like Avira but i don't understand that they don't have something for online banking like many vendors , i like too be safe when i do go banking online. How does Avira keep online banking safe because the don't pass the MRG test with online banking.

What I wonder the most is how AVIRA Free version protection compares to AVIRA Pro, mostly if we compare them within AV-Comparatives test. Is AVIRA Free actually providing same score or is it a lot worse since it doesn't seem to have any URL blocking functionality? That's why I like it how avast! and Panda test with their most basic free version. If these score well, you can be asured paid versions score at least that if not even better. But for AVIRA, I'm unsure just like for example with BitDefender Free...

With our paid products you are even better protected. Compared to our free product, they contain more security features to protect your computer against threats.

    with it ;)

Panda test with their most basic free version [plus the URL blocking toolbar]
so Avira can do the same, imo: Avira free plus the Avira Browser Safety

I don't like how ABS blocking some images from twitter on certain sites and some content on forums with their tracker thing in ABS, that could be better. If it is a good website ok but it not ok to block content on a website. (not needed)
Real noobs would start asking questions with so many things blocked and they don't know what to do......
Or at least give an option to switch off tracker completly, so that its just a normal url blocker for malicious sites.
