Your welcome. Just to note, will still be using gorhill's uBlock Origin for firefox.

So... who owns the version that has the cog wheel dashboard icon on the pop up display when clicking on the red stop sign w/ white U?

if uBlock is a book my feeling is that the Maintainership transfer of uBlock chapter is closed.
Gorhill himself has updated his post mortem article to a resolved issue status. I understand it as no bad feelings, let uBlock carry on with all contributors.
There was a problem, it has been resolved. No haste, no exclusion. Psychology is complex, who am I to judge in terms of morality as in terms of aptitude?

I won't shoot on the ambulance. Chris is living a tough time, doesn't make me smile. But he has for the less made mistakes, they've been corrected, he has learned something (by the way, this demonstrates that defending ourselves is also for the good of the offender).

So, let us continue our wonderful journey -- hey! odyssey! -- on board of the uBlock galion (Peace 'n' Love isn't really the basis of my rhetoric but for once I'll make an exception!).

    Chin ups :)

A simple question Element Picker / My filters :

Filters created by the means of uBlock's Element Picker are added to My filters in the form :

    ! Date Time PageUrl
    Filter

Is there any way to avoid the first line ! Date Time PageUrl ?

I like to sort my filters by domain rather than by date, so once in a while I copy those filters in a text editor to sort them by site, but this obliges me to remove the first line of every filter.
With many filters having them grouped by domain is IMO an advantage when cleaning up, or searching.

    Thanks :)

I couldn't PM you. Coding ublock so it was/is good involved integrity. Your judgment to determine right, wrong, yes, no. Do that.

It is necessary to have 3rd Party scripts default deny as well if 3rd party & 3rd party frames default deny already enable? Any difference would it make?

I believe that 3rd party would include 3rd party scripts also, so IMO no need to enable that also.

On Chrome am I the only one who can't see the icons in the popup interface?

This below is how it should look but I can't see anything below number of domains connected which below says 10 out of 22 but its the same on Wilders which is only 1 domain connected.

The popup interface is never big enough. I can just barely see the very top of those icons and depending on the circumstances one or more connected domains, where you have the + selected next to requests block also don't show. It never looks like it does below.

I just updated it to 0.9.6.0 and its the same. If I knew of a screen shot extension that would capture the popup interface I would show it but none I have tried are able to do that.

I use 0.9.6.0 and can see all icons. To capture popup just hit PrintScreen keyboard button when interface is opened. Then paste it in Paint or other similar program to edit your screenshot.

Now a site showing 2 of 15 sites connected but it shows only 14 sites in the list. I've tried this on different Chrome versions with many versions of the extension. Maybe it's Mint causing this or another extension.

The same site with the power button off shows all 41 sites connected. If you look closely you can just see the top of the icons on all of these pics.

Since this appears to be unique to my setup I'll have to start looking for something locally.

I've seen soemthing like this reported for uMatrix too. The difference with what people get usually can be seen in your screenshot. Notice how the fonts for the window decorations are much smaller than the fonts used on the page or the popup of the extension. I could never figure out why this happens. I don't know whether this is a system fonts settings, or a zoom settings in the browser.

Just curious, what filters does everyone use?

I'm looking for strict blocking, but without breaking websites.

I never had these to break sites I consider this the ultimate blocking without breaking websites(you can use all the malware domain list and spam 404 but I do not because I use uMatrix so this is the list I would use with uMatrix and if I was not I would just add the malware domains and the spam 404) Ublock Origin default filters+ all privacy+ all social+ adblock warning removal list+ anti-adblock killer

I leave the default as is, then enable Fanboy’s Social Blocking List‎.
