    Hi Dan,
Installed beta n over the top with no issues. :thumb:

Thank you Dan @VoodooShield for solving the bug with my internet connection speed. My internet connection speed went from like driving a Volkswagen Beetle to now driving a Lamborghini Veneno Roadster. Now VS works without a flaw. :D
Also Thank you Daniel @Triple Helix for showing me how to send the event view logs by email. I knew how to send all the other logs but for the life of me I couldn't figure out how to send the event viewer log. :)

    Thanks guys,
    Dave.

Difficulty...It is in the eye of the beholder. ;)

See, I have this running in another snapshot, and no difficulty. :) [I have just uninstalled EIS, and installed Online Armor, earlier this morning.]

    Bingo! :)

Notice a lot of obsolete or old entries in the white list after uninstalled program, updated program.

I think for the average user it would be best to prompt ... alert them to the fact that they really should add any web apps not included in the default list.

It's pretty darn close Dan. :)

Cool, I will respond to the other posts asap, but I was just thinking... VS already detects the web apps, so all we have to do is build a list of possible web apps (by process name), and alert the user if this process keeps appearing, and ask them if they want to add it as a web app. That way we do not have to add all of the possible thousands of web apps to the Settings / Web Apps screen, we can just have a list that we can update when new web apps come out.

Also, I just realized, there is a major issue on our website. The main picture of the girl staring at the computer monitor... the monitor is not even plugged in ;). Hehehe ;).

    Hi Dan,

I don't know what software is causing the BSOD's, but I suspect it could be a VS/WSA conflict...I have had 4 Bsod's in the last month or so....If you like I can Zip them up, and e-mail to you.

I don't have the required software to parse them. It would be good to see what is causing these BSOD's, just out of curiosity.

I agree. I was thinking the same thing. I think after the installation is complete the user should receive a prompt informing them to add any applications they use to access the internet that are not already on the web apps list. VS should also give them examples of which applications should be added like web browsers, mail clients, instant messengers, P2P file sharing clients/torrent clients, etc.. VS should take them to the web apps tab automatically to avoid confusion. This will make the user learn an important key to VS protection right off the bat, and save Dan a lot of work in the end.

Edited: The only problem I can foresee with very basic users is them being able to find the executable they need to add to the list. It would be an issue if VS goes main stream, and the user base changes to Wal-Mart buyers, etc.. It's hard to make something perfect though.

I have never experienced that error. Did you send Dan your developer, and service log files from the programdata folder? I think he will probably need those.

Guys, i'm going to take a wild guess on what may be causing the error message, "VoodooShield did not close properly". Dan just recently added self protection to VS, and I can imagine it could cause this type of problem. It's just a wild guess though.

It never hurts to have additional layers, as long as they work well with each other. I am pretty sure that HMP and MBAE work really well with VS, so I would just keep all three. Thank you!

Cool, thank you. Do you mean to prompt when they first install VS or when an unrecognized web app is detected?
