My Maxthon Browser is not listed under EM like Chrome and IE are. I don't see how i could add it to the list.

Thanks for build 167. Maxthon is loading now with the Load Library code mitigation enabled :thumb:

    Erik and Deugniet,
Because I got the same problem with hmpalert3b167.exe I now tested this suggestion.

Deleting hmpalert.exe from the folder was no solution for my problem.

Also Deleting c:\program files\hitmanpro.alert\ folder and the run the 167 install was not the solution.

Thanks Erik. I've installed build 167 and will report how it goes later today.

On 166. IE does not start, but I'm not sure whether it is related to 166 or the Microsoft updates from yesterday.

Will install 167 and try again.

Build 167 seems to run smooth, so far no more Firefox 36.0.1 issues.

Remains the False Positives? in: MPC-HC 1.7.8 (NULLpage) and Soft Organizer 3.51 (ROP)

Hi, I have read in posts in the malwarebytes forum that running hitman pro alert and malwarebytes anti exploit side by side is okay and that there is no conflict. I have used hitman pro alert v2.6 for a month or so and just added malwarebytes anti exploit in the last couple of days; and now when I open a browser hitman pro sits at 12.5% in the cpu and the browser won't open - so I terminate it with process hacker (with admin rights) and it closes for a second and then reopens (which is good, because I guess it has self protection) - and in the time hitman pro alert closes and restarts, the browser opens and the excessive cpu use of hitman pro alert stops. I don't want terminate hitman pro alert every time and have it restart just to open a browser - but I'd like to keep using it. I know this is the hitman pro alert thread, but should I use hitman pro alert or malwarebytes anti exploit, or if possible both, or are they really needed at all. I think for now I have to uninstall hitman pro alert (and keep malwarebytes anti exploit). All replies appreciated. Thanks. This is also posted in the malwarebytes anti exploit thread.

Thanks - a reply has been posted in the malwarebytes anti exploit thread.

As you can read in my previous info, I have no uninstall problems, but lets do it.

After execution of hmpalert-uninstall.exe in my 32bit Dutch Vista with build 166 running and the requested reboot I found still 2 hmp-files:
    1. File hmpnet.sys (v1.4.5.0) was still in c:\Windows\System32\drivers\
    2. File hmpalert.dll (3.0.31.166) was still in c:\Windows\System32\
Thereby there were still files in c:\ProgramData\HitmanPro.Alert\
    Furthermore c:\Windows\CryptoGuard\ was still there.

    Not really a clean uninstall.
    Erik, now what?

    Over installed 155 with 167 ~
Wondering... current IE Flash v17.0 is not reflected by HPA. I've run Flash content since IE Flash Windows Update and since build 167 Upgrade. HPA 167 still shows Flash v16.0

That's because it only detected it as a potentially unsafe application. Once you allow it then NOD 32 does not bother the user anymore. That's what it detected build 166 as anyways. I did not install build 167. I had a serious conflict with Online Armor, and HMPA build 166 so i'm going to wait for that to be addressed before installing another build.
