@clubhouse1 We do have this rule in English filter and it should work. We'll check it on our side. The problem may be in script injected by HotSpot shield. For instance, it may be broken by blocking box.anchorfree.com.
For instance www.murrayhurps.com ;-) But I'm more concerned for the filter's impact on performance. Am I alone having experienced this issue?
I should let you know that it works with AdGuard for Firefox plugin just using the AdGuard filters.....Its only a problem with AG for windows....Easylist stops it when used with ABP, adding Easylist to ADG for windows doesn't stop it....Its the AGD for window is the problem.....I use a tethered iphone on a laptop its the only way as I can't get conventional cable where I live....I have to use Hotspot Shield to connect out on the laptop and this script it runs really slows down the browsing while it does whatever it does.
@ShakedBenratzon I recommend you installing AdsBypasser userscript to Adguard (or use it via tampermonkey/greasemonkey browser extensions): https://github.com/adsbypasser/adsbypasser There's one problem: stable Adguard does not yet support AdsBypasser. But we've improved userscripts support in the latest beta: http://download.adguard.com/d/2/adguardInstallerBeta.exe
I've installed HotSpot Shield and have taken a look at the scripts they inject to the page. I think if you use AG for Windows then it's better to simply remove all these scripts from all pages. Try this rule: Code: $$script[tag-content="ANCHORFREE_VERSION"] If it's ok we'll add it to main filter.
Not yet. Anyway we can't do it until v6 release, all devs are busy with it (even me, returned to writing windows code again)
No need to be rude. Avatar is a nice guy and he certainly gave us a time frame. Moreover I don't think that asking for ETA is completely off when the ETA indicated in the roadmap is long overdue. Perhaps updating the roadmap would be the best option because there are also other projects already behind.
Thanks avatar that script works fine hotspot sheild is now blocked and the page rendering is much faster....Yes people, its been explained that V6 is being brewed...Lets wait, its not as though V5 has any notable problems!
Any future plans to incorporate similar script blocking functionality into adguard like what ublock possesses at the moment.?
OK, will try it again. Maybe it was a coincidence. EDIT: After enabling Fanboy and refreshing 5 tabs in Opera CPU increased. After disabling Fanboy no CPU high activity observed. Perhaps Fanboy somehow collides with other filters. I don't mind, I don't need to have Fanboy enabled.
It's very simple and is done with two filter rules like this: Code: ||http://$domain=example.com,third-party,script ||https://$domain=example.com,third-party,script So the question is if we want to create a shortcut button for quick creation/deletion of such rules. Not sure about this yet. Blocking all third-party scripts is dangerous. We will introduce filter developer tools in version 2.0. Something like "blockable items" in ABP but it will be nice, cross-browser and it will be integrated with our desktop products. So with these tools you'll be able to fast find&block all third-party scripts.
I can't get rid of that AG Protection is Enabled in the top left part of my screen that started today in AGFW.
@avatar A general query. Would it be possible to block ad links which are quite often embedded in text? I mean you have an article on a webpage and some words are somehow differentiated (by colour, font etc.). If you hover over these words ad windows show up. For instance article at http://www.denik.cz/z_domova/kamiony-s-humanitarni-pomoci-miri-do-kyjeva-20150216.html These kind of ads can be spotted across domain denik.cz.
