That's great thanks! Unfortunately they are experiencing problems in processing license key requests. Do you know if one can download Google Earth Pro and use it for a trial period? does one need the key to test it?

 

I've tried 3 times and with a gmail account... As they suggested I might try later.

Beware of what this software installs on your PC. It's huge

 

Got my license key 5 seconds after filling in the form.

 

It took about 5 tries but I finally got it.

 

Just got a key, using gmail address. Took two tries.

Finally got it, there must have been a lot of requests.

 

I had to change from 1 user to multiple users to get it to work.

 

After submission if you get error, just try to reload the page, Browser will ask you to confirm to resend the data, and the next time you should be done. And it takes much lesser time than filling out the whole form anyway.

 

After struggling for a day to get the key, the installer gets stuck almost immediately with "the download failed"...

 

Update: Sign up is no longer required for Google Earth Pro. Click here to download Earth Pro, then sign in using your email address and the License Key GEPFREE.

Please, define "huge" and what does it want to install besides google earth?

 

There must be an FAQ on Google & why are so many rushing to get something just because it's now free?

It was not huge for me, only 100 MB. And I must say that it's cooler than I thought it would be. I can see my whole neighborhood in 3D.
