I'm really curious as to why ERP is going to be freeware. I think that is what Andrew is saying unless I am misunderstanding him. He has been working on ERP like a mad man over the past 3 years. I would say with Andrew's skills he has been offered a lucrative job, or has taken on another project. There's not really much that needs to be done with ERP so it want really require the coding it did earlier in development. I just wish ERP would have been more lucrative. We all have to do whatever pays the bills while we do the things that we love. I think Andrew works on ERP more out of love than wanting to get rich.

 

I am having some issues...I installed erp and at the last second unchecky says it blocked an offer After that erp doesn't open and my pc locks up so I had to uninstall twice in safemode cause after I shut the pc down manually it only shows a black screen and will not show my desktop. What type of offer is erp offering and why?

 

Hope it doesn't become an adandon-ware

Until the new build my ERP has been super quiet, runs great and will only give me an alert if something is trying to update...it's an awesome piece of software!
Has anyone else had problems with erp opening after it's installed?

 

Well I hope not because I really like this Software and Andreas is really helpful. But at the same time it wouldn't be the first time that I paid
for a lifetime licence and then it gets abandon-ware...

To be honest, it's already quite good, so even if development is stopped, I will keep using it. Actually, I use a lot of apps that are not actively developed anymore, so nothing new here.

I will check it out, but there is something weird going on for sure. DriverView will list them also, but I just saw that the Windows Service manager can not see them either. Are the drivers loaded in a special way on Win 8 perhaps? Or perhaps the drivers are not loaded at all on my system? But if so, ERP still seems to be working just fine, so does ERP really need the driver? Perhaps you can also tell what the start-mode should be (boot/auto/system).

To update please follow these steps:

1) Close ERP from Trayicon->Exit
2) Uninstall ERP
3) Reboot the PC (very important)
4) Install ERP

ERP does not offer anything during the install/uninstall.

What appened exactly ? You installed ERP, then you tried to run it, and the trayicon never showed up plus you cannot run other new processes ?

I tried to install the same software in a VM (CIS+ERP+AG+SBIE) but so far it worked fine:

CIS was set to paranoid and I enabled the advanced protection (HIPS).

I excluded in the HIPS and Sandbox the installation folder of ERP, EXERadar.exe and ERPSvc.exe files and the two kernel-mode drivers.

What appens exactly in your situation ?

After you install ERP, does that run normally ? Can you run other processes ?

If you switch it to Learning Mode (Permanently) and then reboot, does it work fine ?

"Export" is working with no issues now, including after a reboot ... Great work as always !!!

 

Does Uninstall Reboot Install ~ Re-Activate ERP or do I have to Re-Register

 

I really like this program

 

Build 1601 works well and installed correctly as opposed to build 1401 in which i had to safemode uninstall as windows did not boot.

Anyway please pardon my skepticism, but in my opinion when paid software become freeware, and lifetime licenses become meaningless, its not a good sign. Although i still have optimism for ERP and NoVirusThanks because its you Andreas that said everything is okay. On that note, thank you for all your hard work.

Since running these last two betas, i have an unusual problem where i right click the tray icon, the GUI pops up as well, is this normal?

Haha no you haven't, I have seen you use both Andrew and Andreas many times.

 

Weird, unchecky says otherwise

pretty much, and when I rebooted my desktop wouldn't ever load

 

I installed the new build and so far so good

 

1. Uninstalled ERP
2. Rebooted
3. After reboot: Disabled CIS, AG (I also have exclusions for ERP)
4. Installed new version of ERP
5. I cannot run anything after that point. Also ERP icon won't show up in my system tray.
