I have read some favorable things about this software. It was ranked as one of the best. I did see another post in this forum about a conflict with Raid. I'm not sure I understood what that all meant, but I was a little concerned. I think my pc has two 500mg drives and that raid manages them. (Or does something with them.) In my case, they function as one drive. (Or maybe this is only one drive, but I thought it was an array of two.) In any case, would whatever they are talking about affect me? Or were they were referring to something else? I read that when you uninstall paragon that it leaves something behind and the only way to fix was to restore the pc from a backup. Just wanted to know if I could consider this program or if I need to look for something else. Thanks
I have been using Paragon HD Manager Suite 12 for many years on a computer with a RAID0 array. No problems and I have had once to restore when one of the RAID0 drives failed and had to be replaced. The restore was perfect. Not sure about Paragon leaving stuff behind because I have never uninstalled it from my two computers. For uninstalls, I use Revo Uninstaller Pro and it does a beautiful job of removing "remnants" of programs. Hope this helps. Have a great day. Regards, -Phil
Yes, thank you. I saw another post in this forum about Paragon causing a problem with RAID. That's why I asked. But maybe the RAID they were talking about was something else?
