    It's true, you're right Bo!

However remains the case of digital signatures ......as I said, until the release 4.08 the installer file is signed by Sandboxie LTD, whereas
from release 4.10 onwards, is signed by the new owner Invincea Inc.
    Anyway,....what release between 4.08 and 4.14 is better for a system with Win7-pro 64bit and IE11 browser?

    Thanks

I recommend you update to beta 4.15.6 but if you prefer to stay away from betas, 4.14 is fine as well. About the digital signatures. As ownership changed, who signs the installers changed as well. That makes sense, to me.

Of course! :) ..... what I meant to say is that the release 4.08 is signed by "Sandboxie LTD", so it should be to latest Tzuk's release ...at least I hope so!!

Whether 4.08 is or is not Tzuks last version in which he was involved with, in my opinion, it doesn't really matter. The latest version released to date is the best and more secure version of all. My opinion. :)

Long-term Sandboxie user here and keeping Sandboxie 3.76 on both my rigs: Laptop=Windows 7 + Sbie + Panda Free AV, Desktop=XP + Sbie + Eset Nod32. Tried upgrading Sbie several times, but versions beyond 3.76 broke important apps that I frequently use on both computers.

Would you please name some of those important apps?

I do a lot of multimedia stuff such as video editing, dvd authoring and burning, etc. Versions of Sbie newer than 3.76 breaks some of the apps I use for those purposes, including dvdstyler.

Note to new users of Sandboxie: Some apps might not work sandboxed with the 4.x releases. But SBIE does not exactly brake them. Just they won't manage to be sandboxed. I think this needed to be posted ;)

Always good to try the latest version, but I know in some cases they don't bring the help. So I can understand people using 3.76 too.

Understand the issues with the plethora of apps associated with authoring/development.

Which is why VMs are such a good idea in addition... Seriously, this makes it possible to keep your main production host clean and functional (irrespective of Sandboxie use) and run the utilities in a VM. I am able to run all my main day-to-day production tools in Sandboxie.
