Emsisoft Anti-Malware 9 released

Yup, no problems here, updated fine.

 

Updating is stuffed again!

 

I don't see number of thread settings for Updates, only for Scanning.

 

@ Tarnak - Firewall? Long time ago EAM would not update for me with some firewalls (PFW, ) and had to do a Revo Uninstall and then use OA.

Does (temporarily) disabling all software that may control outbound / inbound connections work?

Anyway, just a stab in the dark.

It not my firewall, because I have changed nothing. Still, use the same FW, that I have been using for years. Something, has changed with their server.

Maybe connection here, server issues ?

Yep getting the same problem - dodgy updates from BD 2 days in a row. Uninstalled Emsisoft anti malware and installed Kaspersky internet security. Very sad.

 

Updates work fine here too.

I really would like a notification for program updates. The firewall could not load itself and i did not know there was a new release. I did a system reboot and now everything is working fine.

UPDATE: now i got a notification from Emsisoft to restart my pc. I don't know what happened at the first time...
