Bitdefender Total Security 2014 and Outpost Firewall 9 Pro

Has anyone had an issue installing Bitdefender with this firewall installed?? Bitdefender will not install on my PC unless I uninstall Outpost Firewall 9 Pro first.

Any Ideas??

 

You don't want to use BD's firewall?

Yes but BD Total does also have it's own Firewall. I guess you could downgrade BD Total to BD AV Plus wich doesn't include a firewall and keep Outpost if you want.

 

1. Uninstall OutPost firewall
2. Install Bitdefender TS, and go into settings and disable firewall.
3. Install Outpost.
This method worked for me and they have been running very well together.

I have problem with BitDefender Antivirus (2012->2015) and Outpost Firewall Pro 9.1.
Everything is well, but in Outpost Firewall, when i want to add manually applications rules to have access to the internet, when i click on "Modify" button, nothing happened.
I test this with all old version of Outpost Firewall and i have the same problem.
I have Windows 7 SP1.
