Do tell if you bump into a difficulty, so we can try something else.

It downloaded massive amounts of updates, and then it seems like it started to work normally.

    That sounds abnormal.
    Please define massive amount.

Smells like connection timeout during downloading and restarting... But that would be the first.....
Please do report it again if it happens again so we can report bug to Qihoo, thanks! :)

I look forward to the day when they finally start updating this thing automatically without having to download the latest exe.

It does auto update, with a delay ranging from day or two and stretching up to days and days.....
Their reasoning was, they want to make sure the update works as it should and if there's problems, not many people would be affected.
I had autoupdate experience once, but now I can't wait to install it itself so I download exe from the site.

Not sure whether to post this here or in Sandboxing & Virtualization but does anyone have opinions about the safety and reliability of the sandbox included with Qihoo Total Security? I've used Sandboxie (paid) for years but thought I'd give Qihoo TS's sandbox a try. It seems to work well but is the protection it gives as good as Sandboxie's?

I never used Total Security before but I tried Internet Security. IS had a schedule option to make it scan at a certain time. How do I schedule a checkup scan everyday with TS?

Its sandboxie feature is rock solid (tweaked) from my tests. Sofar the only free alternative to sandboxie is 360 IS or TS and comodo sandbox (tweaked)

You don't.... yet.... I totally forgot if I told them about scheduled scans, my poker cards are that I did....

Uh, Jay, or @360 Security Center if you're out there, do provide assistance while I'm gone, I'm back on 16th this month :)
Or just basically anyone using this, if we help each other out, we... do good thing and stuff.... something.

    :)

As soon as I'm back, if there's something left unanswered I will pick it up. Or should... :)

Hi guys. Earlier this morning I attempted to update my 360TS to the latest build and the install didn't complete. Now my 360 IS is corrupt and it tells me to reinstall. However, I can't seem to download it now! o_O

Check that - downloads are now working, I was able to update the program and all is well. :)

So is the delay in update releases of Bitdefender and Avira engine fixed or are they still outdated?

As far as I can tell they are not being updated every day (but rather every few days). :(

I saw that on the 360 site last night, but they made it sound like it was only for Win10 users.

Hope they will answer you. I asked them the same question two times with no result.
