After a scan the results I see. First YELLOW banner saying, "PROBLEMS FOUND!"

Fifteen years ago this would have panicked me. Ok the breakdown from top to bottom 4 categories: Computer protection, Malware, Vulnerabilities and Other issues. So my scan revealed no problems with Computer protection or Malware. Good. But for the undereducated results say 1 Vulnerability & 7 Other Issues. I'll give Kaspersky credit though clicking on MORE INFO gives a transparent explaination that tells me Kaspersky doesn't like a trusted program & system settings. I'd say this is a 2nd opinion scanner only with no realtime ability. Not thrilled with this but might keep it since it's got Kaspersky cloud tech.

There's no malware/viruses in my PC, that's the point.

They're not the only one. McAfee has been bundling their Security Scanner with Adobe Flash Player update for years, Norton Security Scan banner still pops up from time to time on various sites, etc.

At least the only way to obtain Kaspersky Security Scan is downloading it directly from their website, which IMO is not something the "undereducated" you mentioned would do.

I also dislike it when a security program calls cookies infections.
It misleads users and reduces the credibility of a program in my eyes.
