Yes, correct. Zeus would simply ride your credentials with the device likely generating one time codes sent to the bank when the device matches your vein locally. Some banks will send an SMS text which includes a transaction snippet along with a code you type in. This would overcome Zeus. Unfortunately, most banks don't include a transaction snippet, so the SMS code would, again, simply verify Zeus. Vein matching is useful though. It likely/could use robust OTPs.
from the article: so seems kind of cool, or at least better than fingerprint authentication. as far as i understand it, this will ensure that other people cannot use your bank card or other device, and cutting off the finger won't work.
