why is everyone insisting on the stupid launchpads. why do i need a second gui that is dumbed down? i just want the one main gui. so annoying that they all feel the need to add more junk.

why this whole upgrade voucher thing?? i have 2 unused 2014 lic keys and i dont want to activate them yet. anyone know will these now be no good because i dont want to activate them today and use the voucher code right now? or can i do it anytime?? i only have them right now for testing and only one of the three i have is active right now.

Couldn't agree more. I would have purchased F-Secure last year because I really liked it during trial and found it for a good price. The launchpad stopped me..

Now i'm glad. That GUI is atrocious. ~ Removed Off Topic Remarks ~

Well, the launchpad is gone and protection is still great. Really not important about GUI as long as F-Secure protects you well.

GUI is a joke! It looks like done by some intern...
Please take a look at the newest trends (i.e. Kaspersky, Norton's beta, even Panda has done a very decent job).

Agreed. Ultimately the reason I do not use this product is the price. Discounts are not readily available and you can get the big names for about $20 some place or another. I'm sure the protection is good but when you consider the GUI and the price it's not worth it.

To be fair, F-Secure is hardly the only AV with an ugly 2015 version.

True. But I'm not sure I've ever seen a GUI uglier. Malwarebytes 2.0 might beat it. I'm not one to be picky about a GUI either. Just looks elementary.

Well, I never look at the GUI so I don't really care what it looks like. I have had F-Secure for about 5 years now and I am very happy with it. No problems of any kind and they protect your privacy better than some do for sure.

I couldn't get over the UI personally, but I think F-Secure is a great product. I am trialing this on a VM spare PC.

Agree, UI is ugly. Tried to get that changed in the Beta version with no luck. At least the launchpad is gone.

wow, what happens to the normal taste of these freaking GUI design teams? I bet a 3 year-old would have designed a better GUI than the current GUI team. Whoever did the 2015 GUI design should be fired right now.

I have seen the GUI before already because I signed up for their Beta/Tech preview program once. I thought it was a special Beta skin or something, surely that wouldn't be used in release versions, but it is lol.

Yes, thanks for that! The launchpad was an awful idea.
