Very nice offer, thanks. A pity all the Bitdefender offers that have been available recently don't stack, otherwise I think I would be covered for about 5 years now. :thumb:

I'd say 30 days to activate after acquisition. Like the .75 dozen of BIS 2015 9mo promo licenses I possess but don't need got them 07/18/2014 so they'll rot if not installed by ~08/17/2014.

    Hello,
Bitdefender 2015 has a lot of bugs.
    I uninstalled it.
Of course if it's free, you can try it.

Ran this for a free weeks (have paid license) and had zero issues. It's very light too.

Did not encounter "lots of bugs".

Can you elaborate? BD gets beat up on all the time, yet I have not seen any of these issues first hand or on customers PC's..

i cant stand all the extra junk they install and give you no way to remove or do a custom install and only install the main things. i personally do not find it all that light myself

This AV has been totally ruined since maybe 2008 version 6 or 7 cant remember. Since then nothing but incompetence from these people, They have as much Idea as a dying wasp!

I'll agree on this. You can turn some of the stuff off, and using autoruns you can prevent Wallet from running, but I would prefer not to install it altogether.

If they are so incompetent, why do so many companies want to use their engine?

The only one of those I actually tried was Profiles. I didn't have a bug, just didn't like it or need it. I've installed this for a few customers that purchased it and have not heard a word of complaint, but I would assume they are not savvy enough to even touch those extra features. I wish we could just forego installing them altogether, I just want the core BD AV and nothing more.

Yeah, I saw that. I couldn't even get the new G-Data to install correctly on several test PC's on a VM...the one I did get it up and running on had multiple issues, insane RAM and I/O usage and was very heavy. I didn't even give it a chance to settle in before I uninstalled it. Nothings changed.

Read the specific forums for Bitdefender and you will see that there are many complaints of bugs. Some come back to version 2014.
I used Bitdefender 2014 during a year now, I uninstalled it.
I do not want to keep it. In addition the technical assistance is lamentable.

Read the home forums of any of the AV companies and they are all the same, filled with problems users are finding, after all, where else can folk go? I don't think BD is any different. With all the different computer set ups for hardware and software it is inevitable that problems are found, if an AV gives problems and there is no immediate solution, go find something that does suit.

Sorry, with the product that I use now for two weeks, I have tried just about everything without find a bug.

An hour after installing Bitdefender 2015, I had already spotted more than one.

Also, a month ago that there was no update for Bitdefender 2015 despite all the bugs

Updated BD 2015 products ARE now available for download on their website. The digital file date show they were released/updated on 8/22/15...

Can anyone elaborate on "bugs"? Like, specific issues. I've got clients on BD AV 2015 and have yet to hear anything.
