DR WEB anti-virus won't let me open/run Spywareblaster, to update.
Have excluded certain DIRs from AV's scanner/s, but to no avail. There is even an .ini file, showing DIRS to be excluded from scanning, but...
If Spywareblaster can't run, should I ever need it, due to DRW av saying it is a "viral activity..." I'm sunk.
(This never happened with NOD32, but I had to switch due to their scanner suddenly crashing when I tried to run it... and it worked fine for a while, and of course that happened after renewing the lic. for 2 yrs.)
'Bout ready to try some other AV recommended on this site, but that's another story I guess.

Thanks, for any help.info, on how to save Spywareblaster from clutches on an overzealous av program.

Can you temporarily disable DrWeb for the download?
