Thanks to all for this thread. It's been a good resource for learning about bootable Linux tools. Easy2Boot has been especially helpful...
I usually use WinSetupFromUSB to create multiboot USB Flash drives with several WinPEs. Tried the latest version of YUMI, but found that it doesn´t work with UEFI systems.
Don't know if it's a good place to ask, but I got problems with YUMI. I converted my Toshiba 8 GB into MULTIBOOT with it. I used the included formatting option and then I added Windows 7 installer, Linux Mint 17, Falcon 4, Avira Security CD, AVG security CD, GParted and Acronis True Image. Firstly everything but Windows 7 installed worked fine - it showed this error: "Insane primary (MBR) partition. Can’t find myself on the drive I booted from". So I switched the chain.c32 file mentioned by the FAQ: http://www.pendrivelinux.com/yumi-multiboot-usb-creator/ and instead of fixing it, the Falcon 4 got broken too. The rest is still working. Now the error is "Failed to load com32 file /multiboot/chain.c32". Any idea how to fix it so everything would work? Or is there a better application to try? EDIT: never mind, I'm stupid, had to download an earlier version.
Err: Couldn't read the first disk sector. Happened on Hiren's.bootcd.15.2.iso Happened on Falcon 4 Boot CD F4UBCD-4.61.iso Tried vers 2.0.0.6; 2.0.0.8; 2.0.0.9, all the same. No problem on ver 0.0.9.8 and 0.1.1.0. New versions cause more trouble than before. Have to stick with the old version. All the hard work to ver 2 is gone in vain because of this, what a pity. The effort is very much appreciated, thou.
