I don't think I need to add anything else to my security.

But, just to get everyone's opinion, what would your input on my setup be?

@TyRidian Your setup is nicely balanced and complete. :thumb: Does herdProtect give you a lot of false positives?

Neither do I. The config seems to be light and strong.

Uninstalled MSE and running MBAM pro only. No A/V. Reinstalled Private firewall and still using Sandboxie and the system runs great. Pleased as punch :-* here.

Running Kaspersky IS 2015, I like it so far - almost glitch-free, light, my PC feels really responsive. And very important to me - doesn't slow down browsing.

Yes it doesn't make sense to ditch softwares you like as much as these two ;)

Was using Avira free until today when after going to add/remove and saw 420 MB of antivirus application sitting on my hard drive i went back to using MSE @ 21 MB.. i wasn't aware of that footprint being so large.. :gack:

I really do like it a lot, no popups/advertisements that bug you constantly, clean interface, configurable and also light on resources. The only thing that I don't like is the Online Essentials portion of Avira, but no problem, because I can choose to uninstall it.

Overall - It just works really nice

Thanks, I think it is too.

Once and awhile I get a false positive, but really not that many in general.

It is pretty light and strong :thumb:

    Thanks

    Major shakeup...
    Removed AdBlock. Installed Adblock Plus.
Same as it ever was. Sandboxie, and then some other stuff.

I also had a major shakeup. Replaced Windows 7 home premium for Windows 8.1 64 bit. I really love Windows 7 but had to go to 8.1 unfortunately.
