I was on CTP1, does not happen after upgrading to CTP2.

Found something else too, if you enable html5 on youtube and then go to any video, firefox crashes.

Meanwhile if you need me to translate alert to Bengali, let me know.

What would be the point of disabling Anti-Exploit functionality in HMPA so you could use MBAE instead?

Well, I didn´t mean it like that, but when you look at it from a technical point of view, what could be the reason? Is it because both inject code into protected apps? :)

I can imagine that they will conflict with each other because of exploit protection. But MBAE shouldn´t conflict with the other features in HMP.A, I will ask for more info in the MBAE thread.

Hasn't this already been explained (race condition issue, needs to be fixed on MBAE's part)?

    Hi Victek
Thanks you for your reply, sorry for just getting back to. [just seen it]
Yes I rebooted each time I uninstalled. [as request by the uninstall process]
I think the reason "community technology preview 1" and also the Close "X" are not visible, is because of the two windows that appear open over the top of them caused by the "stopped working alert".

Hi all is there going to remain a free version of HitmanPro Alert. Or is going to be pay version only?

Earlier on, it was mentioned that only the Exploit Mitigation requires a license.
But now it is mentioned that also Active Vaccination requires a license.
    Is that correct?
Was there a change of plans?

Actually, all features that are designed to keep malware from infecting the computer, such as Exploit Mitigations and Active Vaccination, are paid features. All other features that are built to thwart espionage and prevent identity theft or data loss (e.g. Safe Browsing, Keystroke Encryption, Webcam Notifier, CryptoGuard, etc.) are free features since the malware is already active on the system.

Confirmed. It's not just HitmanPro.Alert 3. Planetside 2 does not work with HitmanPro.Alert 2.6.5 either. I'm investigating it, thanks for reporting!

Update: Ow wow, Planetside doesn't play nice with security software in general and in most cases Sony requests users to turn off protection completely: http://help.soe.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/7515

Having a hitmanpro year licence makes the hmp.alert effectively free which gives it a big advantage over MBAE assuming they perform similarly.

Wow, this doesn't give me a nice feeling, especially when remembering their rootkit..

    Thanks for the response.

I'm not sure how easy it is to add compatibility with it, but is it possible to add some sort of ignore list and add the associated .exes for PS2?

Alert supports all browsers that register themselves as browser in Windows. In addition, you can add any non-registered browser to Alert by assigning it to the "Browsers" mitigation template.

    Hope this helps.

Chrome Canary assigned now to the "Browsers" mitigation template.
    Thanks

Apple Photostreams Uploader Executable also crashes (daily, at system boot) with HPA3 CTP2 active.

Maybe related to the iTunes crash?

Thanks for pointing us to the video. We’ve seen the video as well and we’re also aware of this new malware. Even though the title of the video suggests otherwise, it's not CryptoLocker in the video. The reason why some of the files are encrypted despite Alert is because the cybercriminals behind it have devised a new approach. Alert is capable of blocking CryptoLocker, CryptDefense and CryptoWall but not this new crypto-malware. We are currently working on HitmanPro.Alert 3 and will update CryptoGuard as well to accommodate for the different methodology of this malware.

I is frustrating, that criminals are allways a step ahead, and I guess they allways will be.

At 5:08 in the video you can see, that Hitmanpro found a vulnerable.
Could this have effected Alerts efficacy?
