That's unlikely for the near future.

Well it was a thought, seems like it would make more sense.

I would like to know in "Freeware Mode" Emsisoft Anti-Malware will get daily or regular updates and are updates automatic or should be manually updated every time ?

Haven't read through the entire thread, but can anyone speak to the performance of this version compared to previous?

There currently is no way to reset that number. We may add one in one of the next versions.

You get the same updates as the paid version, but updates have to be done manually.

We made several performance improvements. Some major improvements to the system impact while surfing the internet are currently in beta testing and will be included in the next stable version.

When will Online Armor be merged into Anti-Malware?

Probably not going to happen at all.

Oh I thought the Anti Malware was going to have a firewall included soon?

Yes, but OA is a HIPS with a firewall. The upcoming Emsisoft Internet Security is going to have its own new firewall and won't have a HIPS.

Why would they have Emsisoft Internet Security which includes a firewall, and include a firewall in the Anti-malware too? I have a firewall I'm using already and won't be able to run Emsisoft Anti-malware if it also includes a firewall. Or am I miss understanding?

No, EAM is not going to get a firewall.

    EIS=EAM+new in-house firewall
OA= already existing firewall with HIPS, bought from TallEmu
EISP=EAM+OA, currently available but is going to be abandoned after EIS release

Whoa. That is not what Fabian said. I while personally I agree with you the official statement is that OA will continue as long as it pays for itself.

I am talking about EISP, not OA. ;)
Could be that they will keep both EIS and EISP but I don't see the point....
EIS is a single product and EISP is a mixture, package containing EAM and OA.

He is talking about the pack. Not Online Armor. I was confused at first as well. Once Emsisoft Internet Security is released, the Emsisoft Internet Security Pack will no longer be offered.

Cool thanks, that was the setting :thumb: Now when the systems starts the tray icon is orange but turns green after a very short while.

Macruim's Defective Solution.png EAM 9 will not work with Macrium. I have performed all of the steps as shown in the attached article. None of them worked. I had to uninstall EAM in order to use Macrium. I will not sacrifice my imaging program for EAM.

If anyone has a fix, I would sure appreciate it. I have opened a ticket with EAM, but no response yet.
