    @Overkill

    I replied to your email.

    @TyRidian

    I'll take a look at that to see if it can be done without creating any potential conflict with other security software.

    Sure, it should be done by adding the app uninstaller pass protected in ERP settings or from the uninstaller, I'll make some tests in the next days.

    I uploaded a new build, it can be downloaded from this link:
    http://downloads.novirusthanks.org/files/EXERadar_Pro_x86_x64_v3.1_20042014_BUILD1_20042014_v9.exe

    To update, follow these steps:
    1) Switch ERP to Alert Mode (important)
    2) Close EXERadar (if it is running)
    3) Uninstall EXERadar (you can keep your current settings)
    4) Install the new build (a reboot is not needed)

    Mainly I added more safe command-line strings to the "Recommended Settings", I removed the "Lockdown Mode (Basic)" and "Lockdown Mode (Advanced)" so we only have "Lockdown Mode", and I added a new panel in the "Settings" window named "Lockdown Mode" to handle the "Vulnerable Processes".

    This is the "Lockdown Mode" panel in the "Settings" window:

    This is an image of the "Protection Modes" available:

    Let me know what you think about the new lockdown mode handling :)

    Thanks for listening to my above suggestions, as well as implementing, fixing, etc.

    This version of ERP is pretty much rock solid, I like it a lot.

    You have truly done a terrific job, Andreas.

    Keep it up, Love what you've done

    Is this a final release, or is this still a beta?

    So far so good! Working as well just like expected!

    I have a "feature" request. Are there any ways to make EXE Radar able to process multiple prompts? Basically, currently EXE Radar is like a door that only allows a maximum of 1 person can go through. If one person who is currently being checked is still in a state of being checked to allow or disallow, the people behind them can't go through even if they have the VIP pass. It would be better if EXE Radar can hold the person in question at the door while still able to allow people behind them to go through.

    The reason I asked this because there were several occasions when I had to access my computer to get a file. However I could not do anything at all for some reason until I got home and realized that EXE Radar was currently asking me to allow FlashInstaller to run or not. Of course I could have enabled Idle Actions but I'm still curious about whether it's possible or not.

    Candidly, I think it a bad idea. What happened is the whole point of ERP. It should stop when that happened. Question is why was flashinstaller trying to run when you weren't there. If you aren't always there when the computer is on, then I'd suggest you turn off all auto updating.

    Thanks for the new beta Andreas! Question, is it just me, or does the build number still say date of 19042014 on all builds I install.

    I don't think it's a bad idea. Today it happened again because Dropbox decided to update. I never ever remember about Dropbox updating but apparently it did today so I wasn't able to access the computer. The suggestion to turn off all auto updating seems like a good idea but it's not always the best work around. Certain apps will decide to do certain things without warning. You might forget to turn off auto updating for some apps because there's so many of them on the computer. Or Windows decide to do something like it did last week when it was doing a malware toolkit scanning thing that is pretty normal with Windows update. Either way, allowing more than 2 person through the door should alleviate some of these problems. You can't always the users to remember to make sure all programs have auto-update off or expect the unexpected. Some programs don't even have an option to stop auto updating like Dropbox.

    The more I think about this the more I think it's a horrible idea. At some point the user has to be responsible for doing something that needs to be done, but having an anti executable program automatically let thru something that's behind what you allow is dangerous. Suppose it's something that needs to be blocked. Dangerous. You might as well run ERP in install mode.

    Installed the new 3.1 build....only issue is that the program keeps asking me if I want to update to 3.0....is there a fix?

    Easy fix. Open the GUI. Go to File>Setting>General Untick the box, notify when a new version is available. That will solve your problem.

    I installed the newest build of ERP today, and its running really well on my machine. It looks like Andrew made almost all the changes I suggested. I just need to get more familiar with ERP to see if there is anything else that can be done to make ERP more appealing to the tech savvy, and maintain a user friendly experience for novice users as well. I don't think there is a need for the time durations on Lockdown Mode. I think the time durations are only needed for allow mode, and learning mode. It's ok to have a time durations on disable mode, but I would prefer just to get a reminder from ERP every 10 minutes or so that ERP is disabled instead of choosing a preset time. What do you guys think? Is there a need for time durations on Lockdown Mode?

    If it is a valid use of Rundll, just use the whitelist commandline, and you won't see them again. If there is a minor variation and it is still valid use a wildcard in the command line string.
