Is Antivirussales.com an official reseller of Hitman Pro?Does the license purchased from http://www.antivirussales.com/advanced/?manuf=SurfRight valid for activating Hitman Pro/Hitman Pro Alert?

They seem to provide reasonable discount.

SurfRight Support staffs don't seem to provide definite answer for this.

We do not know this reseller under this name.

I don't think EMET adds any protection over MBAE, so it doesn't matter if is compatible or not, and probably according to the features "leaked" for HPA 3 It won't add any protection either.

Like others have already said, HMP.A v3 will be able to block exploits, just like MBAE. However, it won´t block banking trojans, it will only alert about your browser being compromised. The developer has already explained why he chose this approach. :)

At least Certificate Trust? Blurry technical details aside, EMET allows me to protect any program for free while MBAE requires yearly subscription to do so.

As for HMP.A, all of its non anti-exploit features don't just add nothing to protection. Plus, take a look at this (probably not completely accurate, I know): http://dl.surfright.nl/Alert-3/HitmanPro-Alert-3-Datasheet.pdf

Just an FYI, avast! is alerting me that HitmanPro.Alert is a threat

Hopefully avast! can release signatures that will fix this...

MBAE free already covers the most exploitable products
HPA 3 hasn't been released (not even a beta), and it only covers the browser, and all those protection mechanism in the pdf are not really relevant in the way MBAE protects. MBAE protects you before any of all those mitigations are needed.

I not trying to convince anyone, I'm just trying to expose the facts, I don't want to start a vs topic.

That's a bit outdated don't you think? That was actually the very first beta that didn't have any memory protections and limited hooks. Things have changed quite a bit since then. It's like bringing up old bypasses from EMET 2.1 to trash the current EMET 5.0.

Yes i know. I was merely stating an interesting read into the approaches of exploit mitigation (if still relevant).

    No discredit intended.

Before things get out of hand, let me correct or add to some of the things said by others above.

MBAE is about exploits. E.g. it does not warn you about banking Trojans in your browser. Alert v3 has all the skills that Alert v2 already offered. In addition it has most of EMET and MBAE features and then some.

I don't want to spoil any surprises (so I won't) but the new exploit mitigations in HitmanPro.Alert 3 will also automatically protect productivity applications (by file type). If you have multiple applications registered and capable of opening e.g. DOCX or PDF, they are all out-of-the-box protected.
Also without manual configuration, HitmanPro.Alert 3 protects ALL web browsers (not just Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Internet Explorer). It automatically supports all browsers registered as web browser, including Palemoon, Comodo Dragon, etc. The exploit mitigation protection covers all plug-ins running in browsers as well, including Java, Flash, PDF and other document of video viewers.

"by file type", what a fantastic idea Markloman. You have delivered everything you have announced from very early on in the development of HMPA and some more. Im sure its not to early to say congratulations.

    Regards.

Hello. I recently started using HitmanPro Alert and I have had an issue with it Alerting me about Worldox, my document management software. Is there a way I can whitelist wbgx.exe so I will not see alerts for Worldox anymore?

I'm not smart enough to figure this out. Guess I should stick with Version 2.6.5.77?
