The Star N9500 comes from the factory with the Uupay.D trojan acting as the Google Play Store.

It clones Galaxy S4. Why would anyone wants to trust this manufacturer is simply beyond my understanding.

So people can buy it :D
I think there is more of the "not so good stuff" available on Ebay not just this one.

    Thanks :thumb:

It's actually not surprising at all. =V

This "China has imitated something" issue has been around for a long time. Then the usage of health-wise dangerous materials into the products, then the very poor quality, so this malware fresh from the factory should be predictable. Next time people should expect them to make something that will fire cluster rays in 8 directions.

When they add this feature I will buy it. It will come in handy during my commute to and from work.

Its low price is the bait. A quad-core smartphone for 130 euro, way too tempting for many.

Deadly cluster rays in 8 directions, with 3 different colours and a loud charging sound, earthquake sold separately. =V

And a fake pride of showing off an imitated iPhone to everyone. People are voluntarily walking their own selves to the gallows. Tsk tsk tsk...

Sadly, some well known brands also did the same thing. *coughsonycough*

We all are screwed up.

This phone is a good example of "you get what you pay for" :ninja:

It doesn't always apply though. Back in the old days Sony-Ericsson phones price tags were rather inflated for the features they offered, and they got broken relatively quick and easy. But yeah, what you said is sensible in most cases, I agree.
