Does anyone know where the original IE zero-day vulnerability thread is?

But unfortunately, neither one of those is correct. It would have been earlier when they were talking about this - lets say around early or mid May - and there was either an article or instructions in that thread(although, probably an article) that gave steps on what to do to try to make IE safer until they patched it. Such as going into Internet Options and going to the Security Tab and clicking on something, and then going to the Advanced Tab and scrolling down the list and then ticking or unticking something. But I wished I had bookmarked or saved the thread.

IE zero-day vulnerabilities are a recurring story. For XP users, it will be a continuously exploitable target. XP users should consider removing it completely if at all possible.

@RCGuy Please re-check the link I posted in post #4. It is thread created in may when vulnerability became public. Links in that threat lead to vulnerability note and advisory with described workarounds.
