I've got blue screen because of Emsisoft IS v9 beta. Now I'm looking for something to replace it.

I know you don't Page. Replacing stars like Tzuk is sort of like replacing a Reggie Jackson or Joe Montana. Not easy to do. But to be fair, they have done some good things and have successfully maintained Sandboxie. Three examples: 1) using Sandboxie in Windows 8.1 got broken after KB2919355 was released by Microsoft, thats fixed, 2) Firefox can not run sandboxed if you are using Firefox 27 and above, using the latest Avast version and using a Sandboxie version earlier than 4.09.01 and 3) problem reports on tablets have decreased considerably. issues with SBIE on tablets have pretty much disappeared.

FWIW, 4.09.05 is doing good and like Chris said, you ought to give it a try. If only, do it for the reasons that he mentioned in the SBIE thread.

Are you not going to report it to Emsisoft so they can take a look and fix it if EIS is the culprit? :)

OK, 4.09.5 is installed. They say Bo knows. I'll go with that.

got it before, install the latest beta version of Sbie and set the exclusions in EIS like in the picture below, and all will be fine.

This would work for me, as I have the knowledge to deal with it. But for my kids/wife and others, not so good. Although Appguard is remarkable for keeping my 'youngster' from installing every rogue app on the planet. I am super happy with Eset IS 7 - it's deployed on 10 devices right now. My son says his PC feels 'smoother, more responsible', that's with MBAM+AV pulled off, and only Eset/Adguard/Appguard. He's a hardcore gamer, with a super-gaming laptop, and feels every little change I make. $149 for Eset multi-device for 2 years isn't bad - compounded over a large amount of devices. $7.00 per year, per device, or just under 2 cents a day.

Eset feels super light, which makes me happy, and with the extended PUA/PUP detection, I'm not so inclined to run MBAM on-access, as MBAM is becoming bloated feeling IMO.

Back to Avast real-time, because it doesn't work as well on-demand as I thought. There were many remnants in startup (drivers, hooks, service, autostarts), and I'm sick of the dependency on AvastUI.exe to be running just to scan. Might've caused a few more bugs I'm uncertain of as well.

Panda Cloud is replaced with Panda Cloud Cleaner. Although the latter caused issues for me before, now it runs flawlessly, albeit a bit slow.

Trying Appguard, last time I tried seemed a bit chatty, but now I've opened every program on my computer, downloaded a couple programs and tried to install, not a peep on medium level. So I may have to keep for awhile, MBAM or MBAE may have to go. Which one if any would you keep with my setup?

Thinking that too as Appguard should provide all the protection that MBAE does. Maybe I might even go Appguard and EIM, thats it. Pretty much covers all the basics, no?

IMO, yes. Might even drop CryptoPrevent as well since AppGuard already does the same job.

Damn it, Panda Cloud Cleaner scans the whole system when I try to "Analyse other elements...". Now I have to test whether it's actually scanning my selected elements along with the whole system, or outright lying. Where do I complain?

Chatty is the wrong word, several programs I have would not run until I put them as Guarded apps.

I think by chatty means if you look at the logs or blinking icon. I had the same problems. I had multiple log entries and really didn't have the time to configure it.

EMET, Future version of HitmanPro.Alert 3.0 or Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit, which one would you choose over the others?

The one with the best free version. Not that I'd choose on over the others in the first place.
