since I don't use addons or plugins anymore I have switched to IE 11.

I use the 64 bits Enhanced Protected Mode for extra security.

Mozilla Firefox (I also liked Opera before their WebKit switch, but it is not the case anymore).

After a long run with Mozilla it was time to "bury the FOX". My favorite computer browser for 2014 is PALE MOON!

Will Australis change this I wonder? Opera lost some of their (already small) userbase when they dropped Presto.

I remember a few years ago when all of my friends were using Firefox and i introduced them to Google Chrome (I've used it since it first launched the Public Beta in Sept' 09) and in less than a day/week they all switched to Chrome. All of them still use it.
It was such a huge change back then.

Nowadays you dont really notice any difference between the different browsers but back then it was THE BROWSER. Hahahahaha

Although Maxthon is my preferred browser at the moment, if I could only have one, it would be Firefox because of its sheer versatility.

I thought it might for me but after using it I actually like it better. I recommend that anyone that is hesitating to update try it before deciding they don't like it.

Australis didn't make Firefox worse for me, but it didn't make it any better either. I don't understand the purpose of it.

I have to agree about Australis, if you can live without the add-on bar, it's fine. A better looking GUI in fact.

Yes exactly, you just can´t beat it. :thumb:

I can´t believe that people are into Chrome and IE. I use Firefox as my second (or back up) browser, but overall, it still kinda sucks IMO.

I don't really care about a browser in particular.
I often change browser and stick with it for a few months, then change again.

these days I stick with Chrome or IE because of the integrated 'sandboxing'.

    Why? :D

I hate changing browsers because everytime I import my bookmarks they are all over the place and needs to be sorted each time I try out a new browser.

I put them in different folders sorted by topics.
it makes the job less frustrating.

    I can't see myself
    (really can't)
browsing with something other than Palemoon (FF)
    because,
1 my hundreds of bookmarks need FF's brilliant bookmark manager
and my bookmark folders need this brilliant add-on
2 the many (read a lot) sites I visit need the help of this precious thing
3 I like to access as much as possible via toolbar buttons
4 all the buttons need to be along the navigation toolbar
so they don't eat up screen space

there are more reasons which can't be reproduced by other browsers,
    but you get the idea

I just hope Mozilla doesn't forget what makes FF different
    they didn't already, did they?

Yes they are in folders before I export & import them. But after the import all of them are usually found in one folder on the bookmarks bar. Now it's quite some time since I tried out another browser so I haven't needed to import my bookmarks into a new browser lately, so it's possible things have improved since then. :)

    it's still the same deal.
can't recall if it's IE, Chrome or Firefox that does that. ;)

I backup to OneDrive, Box and Shared. Bookmarks are very important to me. I can't risk losing them.
