I don't think you can use Chrome extensions in Mx. Its extensions are a bit limited but fortunately it has lots of stuff inbuilt. I don't run Opera 19. I did use Opera a lot a few years ago though. It was really good back then.

 

By the way, I've just noticed a major turn off in Firefox v27.

It takes quite some time (a delay of seconds) when you search from the address or search bar.

Is it because they redirect the searches? Truly sickening.

As a workaround you can download Googlebar Lite.

 

I found some addons that replace what I missed from Opera 12.16. They are Yet Another Context Search 1.31, WOT, Undo Closed Tabs Button 3.8.6, Speed Dial 0.9.6.16, FireGestures 1.8.2, Open Bookmarks in New Tab 01.2012.122901, Duplicate In Tab Context Menu 1.0.0, & Disconnect 3.11. I almost feel like I found an active Opera 12.16 fork. But not quite, I miss Presto it's faster.

 

I use Pale Moon since a year! never looked back at FF or Chrome

 

Well, see my post above yours, these are the things that make me sick.

Of course Firefox extensions are much more advanced but that's the only advantage.

And besides, the most important extensions (Adblock Plus, ScriptKeeper and Ghostery) are still available in Opera v12.

I also agree that Presto is a better engine.

 

I almost switched browsers because i hate the new "New Tab" page in Google Chrome 33 but then i found an extension that reverts back to the original.

I was almost going to install another browser but then i kept reading the "rant" thread in Google Support forum and saw someone mentioning this extension.

 

Yup, I don't like the new one much either, but it's tolerable for me - I just pretend the stupid bar isn't there. IE handles Flash much better than Chrome in my experience and I like its GUI and rendering more, but can slow down very badly on complicated sites without much Flash content. By the way Firefox was kinda slow at loading pages, so I'm sticking with Chrome.

 

Actually checked this out. This reminds me a lot of firefox before the developers went crazy and started removing menu options, etc. The browser does what you need it to, you have quite a bit of control settings wise which I liked.

 

Still prefer to use the best, Internet Explorer

 

I can let you know that my turtle IE 8 is not the best on my OS. And it's the "latest" version available for XP.

But later IE versions on newer OS's are better in many ways I know that

 

There are some bugs though. It doesn't work in Zoho Mail and some page rendering is odd. It's definitely one to watch. I think it will be big one day.

 

I've been running Pale Moon for a couple months now, both 64 bit & 32 bit (on netbook). Am sufficiently impressed that I am replacing my beloved K-Meleon (pls don't laugh).

 

To be honest, i think IE11 is as good as all other browsers out there. The problem is that they took too long to catch up.

you just can't customize IE the way you can with others browsers. i mean mouse gestures and speed dial. years ago, i found an obscure program to add mouse gestures to IE, but it was light years away from what you got with other browsers.
