Well, it didn't last long in beta, did it! :) So, I have my doubts that it was. Joe may clarify?

It was a beta Tarnak, until released this evening.
I checked both version downloads earlier, when mine updated...that's how you can see if it's a beta or not.
Or at least release version was delayed half a day or so.

Do you mean from a link, or from checking the properties of both execs? Because, I can't tell. The execs, I assume, would be the same whether beta or general release.

There are two different download links...for Beta and Release versions. The Beta one should have been given to you if/when you were signed-up for the Closed beta.

When I signed-up, that was so long ago. Now, these days, I just get the update automatically, via the internal updater in WSA. So, I don't have or even look for any links.;):)

And how would you do a clean install (of the beta), installing the latest build? You'd have to find the original email...I have the link bookmarked, as I reinstall every so often.

I never reinstall, if I can help it...I am against reinstalling programs. That is the difference. No, doubt I could PM Joe, and he would let me know. if required. :)

Of course...but for the purposes of knowing if it's a beta or release build?

I seem to get the update, usually before anyone....That is how I tell, and it usually is the beta, nine times out of ten. ;)

    Hello hayc59 :),
I wonder why you haven't yet listed this updated version in the update alerts thread since you belong to the update team despite your horrible nightmare avatar .
    Cheers,
    Herve
