Thanks for FLUID :thumb: It looks so much better & quoting is easier too !

It'd be nice if we could have the FLUID as the Default theme :)

I agree. About another point, I don´t like the heavy use of cursive fonts in the "Recent activity" section. Cursive fonts are difficult to read (for me).

Appreciate all the hard work LWM. Was going to moan about the colour but now that you have added the alternative it is much better.

I now have a problem with a delay on typing there is a delay on the text appearing. I am using Opera 12.16 and Win 8.1

This seems to happen when using the quick reply at the bottom

Yes, I agree, some of the text is harder to read and some key font and "button" elements on the site seem a bit small, thin and weedy and don't jump immediately to the eye.

    I'm using fluid

I think most of the credit goes to LowWaterMark.

24 hours without a break to get this new forum swiched over and running as well as it is.

We just hung onto his coat tails!!

When I reply I get this when I quote using Opera 12.15 on XP.

    ScreenShot_Wilders_quote text _01.gif

It clears when I place the cursor in the window, as per the second screenshot.

Confirmed here Tarnak. The overwriting disappears when the cursor is clicked into the window.

Many thanks for adding the fluid theme, that makes the forum look a lot better IMHO.

Appreciate the work that LWM & others did, especially if he did go 24 hours without a break, sorry if I came across as a moaner but I in my 40's & big changes like this just make the auld codger in me rise up :isay:

I did miss that one.....by 2 minutes! ;) Going play with it a bit, i will admit that already on day two the default style is easier than it appeared yesterday.

Will the option to collapse the forum sections return perhaps at a later date? :)

Yes, thanks for Fluid - and I'm enjoying all the "hidden" goodies.

Thanks for the hard work LWM and all.

I have not got a definite opinion on the change yet. I prefer the old format, a lot more to new one - even after changing to the Fluid style.

However, I'm sure its just a matter of time, and after getting used to it, I will prefer the new format - it does look better and more modern - I guess I don't like change. In any case with my memory being as bad as it it is, no doubt it won't be long till I completely forget what the old layout looked like anyway (sadly I'm not joking here, my memory really is that bad :().

I don't like it for the same reason I don't like it where other forums have moved to this new version. As soon as you click on More Options and/or Preview, you can no longer scroll up or down and see the previous replies.

If I want to quote someone, I have to open a new browser session, go to that forum thread and open the thread again in a new tab/window. A PITA.

Great migration, BTW, in spite of the delays.

And speaking of quote, why is the quote option hidden?
