I have changed my setup a bit since the last time. / OS: Windows 8 Pro 64-bit. Realtime/Ondemand: Nothing.

Passive protection: UAC at max, YandexDNS, Yandex Browser with Flashblock, Ghostery and Vanilla Cookie Manager.
CCleaner run at shutdown to clean browser's cache. All protocols but IPv4 removed from adapters. Pagefile disabled.

Yeah, I was still kind of feeling strange using "an unknown" DNS service. No reviews, no info, no forum and blocking ADs actually slows down browsing anyway.

Chromebook. I'm loving it as a replacement for XP. Despite the limitations, it still does most everything I currently use a computer for on a daily basis.

SBIE is IMO more relevant on XP than on Vista, 7 and 8. IE and Chrome are using built-in restrictions of Vista and later Windows. If I would be still using XP, I would use SBIE 3.76 on it.

Nice setup...are you using MBAM Pro realtime? If so,i think it's just a little "overweight" with an anti-exe,a "mini-HIPS" and a such good AV that you have...but hey,if it works for you and you like it this way...

I'm using MBAM Pro on-demand only and allowing scheduled updates. I edited my post to show this.

It is anti-executable (whitelisting software) enhanced with local AV (Clam AV) and cloud AV (Universal AV; currently available only in beta).

After testing it for a while I also noticed that my browsing has slowed down. I also think that K9 is more suitable for parental control than for antimalware tool.
