SSD SATA AHCI controller...which is best for me?

    I installed the AMD chipset driver and it went fine. Whether I notice a difference or not is hard to say but I think I might...

    You probably honestly won't notice a difference but it's always good to go with the optimal driver. Good to hear you got it installed ok. :thumb:

    Actually I'd say it's easily noticeable now. Everything is zippier pretty much. Even the Magician software says the random read speeds went up 7000 pts or so from when I was using the standard AHCI controller.
