Bitdefender free IS 2014 for nine months

    Thanks daman1. I got the key but didn't install it yet. I currently have a 6 month trial of KIS 2014 running well and didn't want to try BIS 2014 until I was sure there were no more browser slowdowns. If I decide to install it, I will be sure to check the scan SLL feature you mentioned, and try it on and off. Maybe that was the problem last time I used BIS 2014. Take care.

    It was a free license that came with a recent laptop purchase.

    Installed BIS 2014 today and running good so far. System responsiveness and programs opening seems on par with when KIS 2014 was installed. No browser slowdowns either. It's a close race between the two, at least for me.
