For some reason when I add a program to WSA Application Protection It registers the program as A0xxxxx.exe in C:\system volume information\_restore{758xxxxxxxxxx\rp177. Why won't it show the software exe ?

WSA reports the last seen filename associated with a particular hash, so this just means that the file under System Volume Information was scanned more recently. All overrides/protection settings are applied on a per-hash basis, rather than on a filename, so it will often have a different name than the one you've used if it has multiple copies across the system.
