Changed set up to Sandboxie (paid) with MBAM on demand. With Sandboxie tweaked just right (thanks Sully!) I don't think you need much else.

 

i am running these combo for years,never any problems.

 

To tell you the truth, I still don´t know what´s so awesome about AppGuard? Compared to Sandboxie, SpyShelter and Comodo, what does it offer more?

About Emsisoft, I´ve tested the HIPS years ago, when it was called Mamutu (standalone app) and I wasn´t exactly impressed, it missed lots of things.

bytheway I just added Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Pro 1.75 to see how fast I can go this time

 

Most intrusion follow this flow of events (there is heaps of info on the Internet)

1. Memory breach to execute arbitrary code and download executable code in non-uac protected folders => AppGuard offers memory protection
2. Execute the downloaded code to ...=> Appguard offers deny execute of user space
3. Survive re-boot or gain high integrity level status => Appguard keeps protected aps in a LUA box

So with a "less is more" approach focus on three area's it is as effective as HIPS hooking/intercepting everything. Smart application IMO

1. Windows Firewall also blocking outbound
2. Deny download of executables within IE-zone
3. Running browser and add-ons in protected mode
4. Disabled riskware services and user autostart entries
5. Scripting software secured with group policy restrictions
6. Deny execute for basic user outside UAC protected folders
7. Deny elevation/installation of unsigned executables/drivers

 

I will see how this new install fares. Targeted hacking attempts on some adult models chat room and realted is not something a normal PC user gets. Was some dutch guy leading the pack, but I will not say no more. I propably had some weakness with Java but lets just say that no one can survive with continuing attacks.

It is not right what they were doing!

I just hope This AppGuard guards better against crackers. I did not also had a 2 way firewall protection, but I never installed much, so not sure if that got me hacked

 

they just need your ip address and inject the code into your system and you are hack,very bad very bad situation they find a weak point or outdated software to start doing the damage,that's when programs like appguard comes to the rescue

Trying Superbird browser.

 

I'm going with MBAM's realtime protection enabled for a while.

 

I just wonder if they are still going to work in the development of Online Armor Premium after the 2 programs joint into one application

 

WSA and 2 engines at VT flag the Superbird browser site as malicious. Will add more if I find out anything. (Posted using the Superbird browser )
edit: Didn't find out much, removed Superbird anyway since there's not much info on it.

Good Evening! Quicker than you can say 48hrs...uninstalled B.D.2014 I.S. replaced with EAM 8.1...WSA Security Plus...and AppGuard. That's All For Now...Sincerely...Securon

 

I had to removed mbampro cause after I install it it slowed me down abit

 

That's the Securon I know! WSA Complete,Solo Here....

 

I use it as on-demand disabling the realtime protection. It's very effective and doesn't slowdown that way.
