Do you have a Mac? And if so how do you like WSA on it?

My wife has a Mac. It's running quite smooth. You could argue how useful an AV för Mac is, but I have extra licenses so I figured why not? So far no troubles but also no encounters with malware accordning to WSA. :)

Good to hear and Mac's are not immuned to malware these days as I have it on my Sister Inlaw's MacBook Pro and she hasn't come across any malware but she really like's the ID Shield for Banking online.

    Hi Guys,
I have a question about installing WSA on a mac, hope you don't mind me asking in this thread. A relative has an older mac mini running osx lion and cannot be updated anymore. I installed WSA and on a limited account the webfilter is installed in Safari under preferences but there are no other signs it is working. There is no W in the safari browser itself or check marks in the search results. Any clues what might be going on? Thanks

I suggest you write to Webroot support. The will give you a quick and good answer.

There's a link in WSA interface (GUI) which will direct you to support.

    Thanks Shadek,

I will contact support. I guess I just was asking if the webfilter for a mac using safari is similar to using the webfilter with internet explorer - should there be green check marks in the search results in safari?

Yes, provided the browser version is compatible, we'll show the check marks in search results on Google/Yahoo/Bing.
