Just joined this forum. Maybe I am just not smart enough to use this software. Although I have used for some time now it will not maintain scheduled backups. My PC is beginning to show signs of instability so I checked to see if backups were current. At one place, under Scheduled Tasks that the latest mentioned backup that last backup scheduled for 3/1/2014 "failed". (This is not the first time I have seen a similar notation for earlier dates.)
At another place, under Archives I find a reference to a creation date of 1/1/2014 and the flags, to me, indicate that it was a compressed differential system backup to an archive created 080413. I'm guessing this refers to April 8, 2013. Note that the backup along with several older ones are greyed out.
I have many questions and concerns, the first being how can I determine the cause of the failed attempt of 3/1/2014 and correct it.
If this is explained somewhere I am willing to review same, but at this point I really feel the need for the help of those on this forum.
    Thanks in advance,
    ehw

Please clarify what operating system you are working with to start, then to troubleshoot why, you have 2 choices, either log into the full scale launcher and under settings go to 'view log files' or you can go to schedule highlight the scheduled operation and then right click and then choose 'Run now'

Keep an eye on the scheduled task and see why it did not complete successfully.

Thank you for your prompt response. The OS is Win7 SP1. Did not see "view log files" in settings, but not sure I looked in the right place. I did run now and popup window says "Invalid partition data - partition control blocks of information incompatible". Is this the reason for unsuccessful completion? Please advise how to proceed from here.
