I hope they will now focus on Viruscope detection rules.

They removed the applications from their Servers. No idea why.

Either they found some serious bug or it was just a leaked unfinished version.

I actually quite like it. It has never been a more difficult time to decide between avast! and CIS. On one end i love avast! and how i worked with it through the years, with the team behind it, the way it works and what all it offers, but i also like what CIS has become with v7. Viruscope is what i was really missing and web filtering as well, all the problems i had with older versions are now gone (apart from the samples uploading which is still bugged). Nice release indeed.

Might combine avast! with CIS maybe, to have best of both worlds. Hm...

I am sorry to learn that file submission isssue is not entirely fixed, I said entirely because many times I use it it actually uploads files.

I'll inform idem about that, BTW they fixed 2 big backend issues that were even more important than manual submission :thumb: ... let's finish the work now.

Also you can now uncheck potentially unwanted applications which often tend to become annoying.

The setup file size is confusing ( from 80 to more than 200mb)

I found this link to download CAV small size setup:

You can speed things up a little bit by exporting and saving the virus databases.Should you decide to un-install comodo for whatever reason, keeping the database file may be a good idea in case of future re-install.
